[iHost](https://sonoff.tech/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/%E8%AF%B4%E6%98%8E%E4%B9%A6-iHost-V1.0.pdf) is a smart automation controller, similar to [[HA]]. Prior to [iHost](https://sonoff.tech/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/%E8%AF%B4%E6%98%8E%E4%B9%A6-iHost-V1.0.pdf), you had to use the [[eWeLink]] app to add [[Sonoff]] devices and everything was done on the cloud. With the arrival of [iHost](https://sonoff.tech/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/%E8%AF%B4%E6%98%8E%E4%B9%A6-iHost-V1.0.pdf) you can have all devices added to a local host and optionally link it to a cloud host ([[eWeLink]]). For simple setups, especially the ones which are [[Sonoff]] based, it is most likely a no-brainer choice.
